Boise County is positioned in Idaho. Back in 2020, there were 7,610 total residents. The county seat is Idaho City.

It was formed in 1864.

It was named for the Boise River, which was named by French-Canadian explorers and trappers for the great variety of trees growing along its banks in the lower desert valley.

Boise County records their criminal activity in the form of criminal records. These records cover murders, rapes, burglaries, arson, motor vehicle theft, assaults, and crimes of a sexual nature. The criminal records in Boise County are consistently up to date. These include any offender living, attending school, working, or in prison in the Boise County area.

Boise County Public Records

In Idaho state, reports called vital records are kept on every resident within the jurisdiction. The vital records in question document a person’s most significant life events. These documents can contain anything from births and deaths to marriages and divorces. Counties such as Boise County help to collect these reports. The state requires some counties to collect and send copies of the reports.

In Idaho, marriage records are currently obtained by each individual county clerk. These records are stored at the Idaho Bureau of Vital Records and Health Statistics. Birth certificates, death certificates, divorce decrees, marriage licenses, divorce certificates, and marriage certificates make up the primary vital records. NOTE - The office is only open between 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. MST from Monday to Friday. Those looking to request reports must also bring some form of photo identification. Both driver's licenses and state IDs would suffice. In Boise County, a requester must also put their public record requests in writing.
